Mayday Mendez has hit rock bottom. But when she discovers a quartet of magical, singing crocodilians, she hopes they can be her ticket to stardom. In truth, they're her first steps toward healing the wounds of her past...

"Ninja Turtles, Biker Mice, Street Sharks and now Croc and Roll! That band you didn’t know you were missing, breaks on to the comics and music scene in this fantastic adventure."

- Terry Blas, author

CROC AND ROLL was devised by me on a book tour to New Orleans. I’ve always adored alligators but being surrounded by the heat and the music and atmosphere of that incredible city made me determined to pay tribute to it.

The idea of Croc and Roll had rolled around for a while but it wasn’t until the pandemic hit that I wanted to make it a reality. This was my first experience collaborating on a comic with an artist other than myself and George Williams was the only person I considered for the job. His art is electric, hilarious and constantly surprising.

The book was funded via Kickstarter. The original plan was to just fund Chapter 1 and pitch it to publishers but we raised £20k of a £2k goal and so we finished the whole book.

Croc and Roll can be enjoyed as a musical comic! The incredible talented Wyatt Graves has been creating a concept album inspired by the tracks featured in the book. Here are a few of the tracks so far:
